The short version: we collect the information you give us so we can respond to your request and service your system. We don't sell it, and we only share it with the companies that help us run our business.
Who we are
This policy covers Redemption Heat & Air, Inc. ("we," "us"), a heating and air conditioning contractor based in Ocala, Florida, and our website at redemptionheatandair.com. It explains what information we collect when you visit our website, fill out one of our forms, respond to one of our ads, or contact us, and how we use it.
Information you give us
When you request an estimate, send us a message, or submit a form through one of our ads, you may give us:
- Your name, phone number and email address
- Your service address or zip code
- The type of service you need and any details you share about your system
- Whether you're a new or returning customer
We also keep records of phone calls, texts and emails you send us, and of the work we do for you, such as appointments, estimates and invoices.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours uses a few outside services that collect limited technical information when you visit:
- Google Ads. We use the Google tag to measure how well our ads work, for example whether someone who clicked an ad later called us or filled out a form. Google may use cookies and similar technology to collect information such as your device, browser, the pages you visit and how you arrived at our site.
- Cloudflare Turnstile. Our forms use this service to block spam and automated bots. It looks at technical signals from your browser to confirm a real person is submitting the form.
- Google Fonts. Our website loads its typefaces from Google, which receives your IP address when the fonts load.
- Our web host. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.
Google ad lead forms
Some of our Google ads let you send us your contact information without visiting our website. When you submit one of those forms, Google passes the information you entered to us, and we handle it as described in this policy. Google's own handling of that information is covered by Google's Privacy Policy.
How we use your information
- To call, text or email you back about your request
- To schedule and perform service, prepare estimates, and send invoices
- To remind you about maintenance or follow up on work we've done
- To improve our website and understand which of our ads are working
- To protect our website and forms from spam and abuse
- To meet legal, tax and licensing requirements
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who help us run the business, such as our website and email host, our scheduling and invoicing software, and the services listed above. They may use your information only to provide their services to us.
- Equipment manufacturers and distributors, when needed to register a new system or process a warranty claim for you.
- Authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights, our customers, or the public.
Cookies and your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; our website will still work. To control how Google uses information to show you personalized ads, visit My Ad Center. To learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
If you'd rather not receive follow-up calls, texts or emails from us, just tell us and we'll stop. You can reply STOP to any text message.
How long we keep information
We keep customer and service records for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our tax, licensing and warranty obligations. If you contacted us but never became a customer, we delete your information when we no longer need it.
How we protect it
Our website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), and we limit access to customer information to the people who need it to do their jobs. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe.
Your requests
You can ask us to tell you what information we have about you, correct it, or delete it. Contact us using the details below and we'll respond within a reasonable time. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we may keep some records where the law requires it.
Children
Our services are meant for adults, and we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Other websites
Our site links to other websites, such as our Google and Facebook review pages. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we aren't responsible for how they handle your information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
